My first Radio Flyer was a little red and white tricycle. Actually it was my three year old’s and I bought it for him for his birthday. My son has Autism, and is mostly not interested in trying new things, and for five months, the little red and white tricycle sat in a corner of his bedroom, collecting dust. Then one day unexpectedly, he just hopped on it and began to try it out. Once he got the hang of using the pedals, he began to ride it through the house crashing into walls. I took him outside and let him loose, and in no time at all, he was a pedaling demon. He rode that tricycle until he was five, and much too big for it. Even when I bought him his very own bicycle, he refused to give it up. I remember trying to throw it away after he had ridden it so much that the wheel was coming off but every time I would take it from his room, he would just go out and get it again.

My second eldest son received a Radio Flyer wagon, which unlike his older brother, took to as soon as it was assembled. He loved taking it outside, pile rocks on it, transports them to another location, and unloads. Then he would turn around and do it all over again. He is now five and that wagon is still in the closet. My youngest son is nearly two, and I am looking into the Ultimate Canopy Steer and Stroll Tike. This looks like a good item for him because until he is old enough to grasp the concept of pedaling on his own, I can grab the handle, push, and steer for him. The canopy will come in handy in shielding him from the sun, as it gets extremely hot where I live.

As with my previous Flyer purchases, it will stand up to the rough nature that all my children share, and will give him pleasure for years to come. Radio Flyer bikes and trikes will always be my first choice when it comes to my children who can put toys through their paces.

Everyone has a favorite memory of a childhood toy that they loved. For some people it’s a stuffed animal, for others it’s a model airplane or something like that. But for many people, especially those who grew up in the 1950s or 1960s, the best toy was the Radio Flyer wagon. The classic red wagon, seen in so many television shows and even immortalized in a movie called “Radio Flyer,” was such a simple toy, yet provided hours of entertainment for thousands of children. Here are the reasons why.

The first reason why Radio Flyer is great is because it’s a classic toy. That is saying a lot nowadays, when so many toys are flash in the pan creations made by giant corporations hoping to sell the maximum number of units to kids, usually with some kind of marketing tie-in. The Radio Flyer wagon has a history – it has a unique and distinctive past behind it, since it has been featured in so many movies, shows and stories. All you need to do is say “Radio Flyer” and a lot of older people will smile with nostalgia. You are preserving a great tradition by buying one of these wagons.

The other reason why Radio Flyer toys are the best, is because they actually promote physical activity and creativity. So many toys nowadays are in the form of computer software or video games, and they do not stimulate the imagination nor allow the children to get exercise. But with a Radio Flyer wagon, kids can play outside and pretend to be anything – Cowboys, policemen, soldiers, whatever – they will use their creativity to come up with new and interesting games, instead of just accepting something that is fed to them.

The other great thing about it is that they’ll get some exercise by playing outdoors, running around, and pulling the wagon. With childhood obesity being the huge problem that it is today, a Radio Flyer wagon (or sled – they also make sleds) is a great toy that will help kids stay in shape while they use it, instead of simply sitting in front of a television and gaining weight. For these two reasons, Radio Flyer toys are the best.

Radio flyer toys are quite popular among both kids as well as parents. It is not surprising to see that children keep on asking for these toys as these toys make the early childhood quite enjoyable.

Radio flyer toys are available in a wide range from rocking horse, scooter, wagon, inchworm, trike and bikes. Even within these 4-5 categories there are ample options to choose from. The horse sold by them comes in different variants like the bouncing horse, rocking horse, horse with music etc. Similarly the wagons are also available in a wide range from steel and wooden wagon, plastic wagon, family wagon etc which suits and caters to different needs of the kids. The family wagon can safely accommodate more then one child and, two kids in the family can use and play with it together.

The reason why these toys are in heavy demand is the huge range and an ample option to select what is best for your child. Second reason for these toys being so popular is the ease of use. They are easy to assemble and some of them don’t even need to be assembled. Children love to play with their scooter and it does not require to be assembled. It is great to play both indoors and outdoors and it can be made compact by folding it away when not in use and stowed away.

Radio flyer toys are for kids as children do not fall off from the rocking horse or other such toys as they have used suitable material in their products to ensure safety of children. Radio flyer toys are made of high quality material and so the toys do not break easily. They last so long so as to be passed on to other children in the house. You get your full worth of money as all the kids in the house play with it, remain occupied with the toys and spend their time.

I feel this is a very good product for children to spend their early childhood with ensuring their safety and also their entertainment. They can be folded easily and most of them are lightweight so suitable to be carried while traveling.

Radio Flyer has long been a name associated with greatness in toy manufacturing. They are most well known for their red wagon design although they make many other toys. There are two reasons why Radio Flyer toys are the best of their kind. First, they are well made and steeped in tradition. Second they are safe and ever evolving. When the first Radio Flyer Wagon was introduced in 1917 it was made of steel.

Today these well known wagons come in an assortment of materials including wood and plastic. This makes them more durable, long lasting and easy to clean than some of the competition. Radio Flyer has long been associated with well made, long lasting toys. Many heirloom toys that are passed from generation to generation are Radio Flyer toys because they stand up to the wear and tear brought on by kids and their play. If you look through your grandfathers garage or your uncles storage building for toys you are most likely to find at least one that has survived, and it would be a Radio Flyer wagon or tricycle.

Another reason that these toys are the best and favored by many is that they are safe and ever evolving to meet safety standards. You won’t find Radio Flyer products on a recall list for lead paint or other manufacturing mistakes. Radio Flyer toys have been held to the highest standard since the company first began ninety years ago. From the tricycle to the wagon to the rocking horse Radio Flyer makes sure that all of their products are not only fun to play with but safe as well. These are just two of the excellent reasons that Radio Flyer toys are the best of their kind on the market and why generations to come will favor these toys over other similar ones to buy for their children.

They have one of the most recognizable names in the toy manufacturing business and have been forever memorialized in movies and television. When any kid thinks of a wagon the first one to come to mind is the Radio Flyer prototype. This is why Radio Flyer toys will always be the best toys forever.

When Radio Flyer comes to mind it takes me back to when I was a child and trust me that was a long time ago. Putting age aside the memory I have of Radio Flyer is from the fact that it took several years but Dad finally bought us a Little Red Radio Flyer Wagon. To me there was nothing my brother and I couldn’t do with that wagon. So I guess that should speak volumes about a company that continues to produce quality toys.

Today I have grandchildren that are at the age where they can appreciate good toys and it is my pleasure to search out and find the toy that will capture their attention and hold it. For the boys and each one is unique in his own way but would share their favorite toy with their brothers, I chose #79 the Big Flyer for Crandon and Bubby and a trusty steed for Rustin. Now you are going to say that is not three but wait Friana needed a toy too.

The Big Flyer is just the thing for the child who has a lot of speed and strength in his legs like Crandon or for the energetic catch me if you can Bubby. The seat adjusts to accommodate the difference in height and it has the unique look of a racer bike with its Big wheel and rear slicks. The real chrome handlebars with comfortable molded handgrips, the rear pennant for child safety and realistic gauges complete the look that keeps the boys waiting their turn to ride. For Rustin Radio Flyer has what they call the #301 Liberty Spring Horse. It has motion activated sound, an authentic saddle and built in safety straps. I selected this for Rustin even though he is not quite three because it will be around until he outgrows it and the stirrups adjust so his four and six year old brothers can ride it too. The only problem we have is trying to keep him from going too fast since he treats it like a real horse!

Now the Prima donna we chose the Ultimate Family Wagon for Friana and trust me the only one riding in it will be Friana. She will fold one seat down make herself comfortable and wait for one of her brothers to pull her wherever she wants to go. She enjoys the protection from the sun and the fact that she can take many things in this wagon including her computer as well as something to drink and/or snacks. I like its seat belts, wheels designed to prevent it from turning over, and the fact that it will hold a lot of things when we are going on an outing. If you talk just right to the Prima Donna she will let you have a ride; after all she has been taught to share. Radio Flyer after ninety years you are still making memories that will last a lifetime.
